| Comment | Bear spray should not be sprayed on anything other than a bear. You shouldn’t even own it here, and I think having any other type of “chemical weapon” on you wouldn’t go down well.
It sounds grim, and I know it’s horrible to say with people suffering at the hands of others, but murder and rape are going to be in any city, and even any town you live in to a degree, There’s no escaping it, you may think it’s not happening but just because people don’t come forward which for a lot of women and men will be the unfortunate case, or because it’s not reported, which doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.
My advice is get a key alarm or whistle, , try and be proactive about where you go, who you’re with, and to not live in fear. |
