Always have a little chuckle when I read these stories. When I grew up I remember gangs from the local Catholic school used to wait for single kids from the near non denominational school to walk by so they could beat them up. I also don't give to nuns when I see them collecting in their tins, nothing to do with their religion, it's just that a very good friend and her brother were in a home run by The Sisters Of Nazareth who used to kick the shit out of them when they were 8 and 10 year old (must have been God's will eh), dunno if it was sexual as she doesn't open up about her time in there. Another time in Maryhill shopping centre the nun leaned forward and coughed in the face of an Asian guy because he didn't put a pound in her tin. I remember walking through the Barras in Glasgow with my England top on, told to go home as I was an English cunt, Orange bastard and a few more by the local green and white top wearing gang with some wearing a national strip which was also green, weirdly enough I was walking through as I had just visted my Catholic Celtic supporting best mate who didn't even bat an eye and what I was wearing.

But using your logic can we assume all Irish Catholics are child beating racist bigots, roam in gangs to beat up poor defenceless folks going about their business alone, built on a religion that beats up children and targets Asians???

The answer is "NO" btw, as you can't judge a whole group, community, belief, etc etc etc on a few incidents by idiots.
