| Comment | Outside of whether it was a good shopping centre or not, and the arguments about it driving business in neighboring towns the place has a soft spot for me purely for nostalgia. Going to Braehead was an adventure, me and my family would routinely take day trips just to go shopping when I was little back in the early 2000s. I'm from the sticks so it was totally different experience to everything else growing up. I still vividly remember driving up the A83 in the scorching heat of summer just so my mum could spend a couple of hours getting her retail therapy. |
