| Comment | really, I've already complained to NHS Lanarkshire. The team who assign GPs were VERY fast in assigning me to another practice when I explained why I needed to move, and my new GP is decent. He said I'm far from the first patient he's had who is trans, so I don't need to explain much to him.
It's terrible, but not uncommon for trans people to get substandard, or no care from their GP until they move to another practice. Most GPs are fine, but some seem to just want patients on the books who don't need anything ever, get paid for no work. Certainly not interested in dealing with anything even slightly unusual. |
