Everything there should be prefaced with "THIS IS MY OPINION" because folk on Reddit seem to struggle with that obvious thing. "You don't know" of course they don't, they're saying what they *think*.

They think it might not have been necessary to shoot him. I thought the same. I was sure this was some terrorist shit when I heard they'd shot dead a guy with a knife. I figured they went overboard because he was on Jihadi shit, and I wasn't exactly mad at that. Now that it's apparently not a terrorist attack it becomes extremely unusual (maybe even completely unique?) for a guy with a knife to be shot dead in Scotland.

At the very least it raises some questions and isn't an "obviously the police definitely did exactly the right thing" when it's extremely abnormal for a guy with a knife to be dealt with by shooting him dead. Don't you agree?
