The guy had tried to murder 7 people, you want them to assume he's behind a closed hotel room door and not away murdering other people. We only know he was in his room because the polis opened the door and then his actions resulted in him being shot.
You're looking back on it assuming cops have x-ray vision and could tell the guy was in his room and just stand outside and wait on negotiators while he could have been rampaging about stabbing more people.
The polis had to go into the room and once they did they had to deal with what confronted them. |
