What is novel is the post-truth mindset of people who aggressively tone policed on the need for lockdown but then supported the BLM demos, a flagrant violation of the lockdown. They then feign horror at the utterly inevitable counter-demos to the wanton and pointless calls for destruction of heritage like the statues of Robert Peel or the Duke of Wellington.
