| Comment | I done it old school, getting a job elsewhere in the railway then applying when I was in. Keep an eye on the Scotrail/Abellio, Avanti, TransPennine websites. They advertise a few times a year for drivers. There's plenty of info online about what's required and the recruitment process too. I can also attempt to answer any questions, although I've been a driver for a long time now so the process is undoubtedly different from when I went through it.
It is a good job, as a Scotrail driver I only work a 4 day week, Sundays are O/T. Its a good gig mate, definitely. |
