This was one of the main reasons why I decided to purge my Facebook of everyone bar a few who I don't know personally but play the same games for chips. I would have preferred to delete it but would lose MyVegas progress. However I now only have to see genuine posts from groups and on subjects that I am interested in and it has been a great sense of relief. My experience of it has been far more positive since.

I liked it to see how people you grew up with or met through your life were getting on but sadly that has over the last few years been overwehlmingly drowned out by the absolute poison that social media has become. I have the phone numbers of people I am close to anyway so Facebook has simply tipped the balance between its early positives and present negatives which now comfortably outweigh its benefits. |
