I've mentioned this a couple of times since Friday, but my company has an office not too far from the Alexander Thompson which is still open because it has an emergency services contact centre on one of the floors and the company have actually had to send an e-mail to every who has scanned into the building in the last month to warn us to be vigilant as several staff members had been approached and threatened by people who were most likely staying in the hotel.

I work in another one of our building further along the city but occasionally pop into the Tesco on Argyle Street on my lunch breaks and I've always felt a bit unsafe given some of the characters that are hanging around.
