Comment | I've been spending a lot of time at the Maternity unit at QUEH since my son was born 3 weeks ago, and yesterday they changed the rules to make wearing a mask mandatory for entering both the maternity bit and the main hospital. They give you a mask at the door.
Walking around this morning getting breakfast and coffee to bring back to the Maternity unit, the number of people walking around inside with the masks either in their hands or pulled down under their chin was unreal. The staff were no better - no masks on the most part, and the two I saw wearing them (a nurse and an auxillary in the m&s) had them on inside out.
Unless *someone* enforces the rule to wear a mandatory mask, people just won't do it; if the hospital can't/won't enforce it, it's hard to see how a minimum wage retail employee will manage it. |
