| Comment | Aye, worked all around Europe and there were only two companies that weren’t awful. One was VB&T but they are in the Netherlands so never mind. Second was Let It in Glasgow.
They worked with the “no cats” owner to get me in the flat to start with, way above the expected effort. Every issue was dealt with within the day with the exception of one, which hey, couldn’t really be faulted as it was Christmas.
When I moved in I offered a £200 deposit for the cat, they refused, instead they stipulated I’m writing that a normal deep clean plus a professional carpet clean was all they needed. During check out they noted a couple wee things BUT said to the landlord that given I had done a bunch of free fixes for them and the close over the year, these were totally offset. Couldn’t ask for more decency and rationalism. Afaik though they don’t let to students, just fyi.
So there is hope, but that is 2 of them out of maybe 11. So there’s not much hope. |
