Within 15 minutes drive of the hospital is a pretty huge radius bud, you've got everything from Shawlands to Renfrew in the south but also large chunks of North Glasgow cause of the Clyde tunnel so it's gonna be unlikely anyone's gonna have in-depth knowledge of the whole area. Might want to come back once you have a better idea where she'll be.

What I will say is the standard advice of avoiding pubs with no windows or barred windows, and depending on the day avoid pubs with prevalent Union Jacks/Tricolours due to (very occasional) football violence.

Also, from experience working in bars for 6 years, It's wise to keep in mind that wherever there is drink there is a risk of fighting; Glasgow's no better or worse than any other UK city and no individual pub is ever completely safe.
