Partick/Yorkhill/North Kelvinside would be my shout there.
Get yourself a decent 1 bed or a 2 if you’re lucky beside the botanics, kelvingrove and a ton of pub’s and places to eat etc
You’d never be any further than a 40 odd minute walk in to town anywhere there either and have the subway, bus or potentially train if you’re in Partick
