If you're not set on an 0141 landline number but want a G postcode, you'll get s decent house in Cumbernauld for that money. The transport links to Glasgow are pretty decent, bus is 20 - 30 minutes depending on where in Cumbernauld to Buchanan bus station. Trains are roughly the same to queen street.

You'll get a really nice 3 bed in kildrum or condorrat for under 110 or some of the estates north of the m80 you'll get a 2/3 bed for 130 ish.

There's a big Asda, big and small Tesco, Aldi, m&s food, multiple pretty decent gp surgeries and a few decent dentists. Schools are okay, couple of brand new high schools, a project to replace the primary schools with new builds.

Cumbernauld has a *lot* of green space, 6 nature reserves, a couple of large parks, a lot of decent walking routes, private and council golf courses. The shopping centre is a bit grim, but has a few not bad shops (the comic / gaming shop is great)
