I work there. I think it gets an unfair rep tbh. The people are lovely and there is a great sense of community. As with a lot of areas in Glasgow though it does have a lot of issues - violence, drugs, anti-social behaviour.
Closest supermarket is Asda in Toryglen which is a pain if you don’t drive.
