Buy a good dehumidifier, not one of the wee ones, at least a 10 litre one, preferably bigger.


I got one about 4 years ago and I couldn't live without it.

I know the €170 seems like a big outlay, but they last for years, and they are much cheaper than running the heating (which doesn't get rid of the moisture anyway) and well cheaper than using a tumble dryer (which doesn't reduce the dampness or take away moisture from showers or cooking).

I have mine on about 6/8 hours a day and it made so much difference.

No more condensation; no mold, able to dry towels in about 12 hours on the rack.

Honestly do it, you won't regret it.

Also don't bother with those little units, or disposable ones, they're a waste of money.
