| Comment | Hey man thank you so much for your response and offer to help, it's very much appreciated. I've been trying various things, and managed to make a boot drive clone through Terminal commands - so I do have a bootable instance of my Mac Pro OS on an external drive that I've managed to load into, but it still won't allow me to install the needed web drivers to fix things so I'm just a bit lost now. I've now bought an old ATI 5770 from a Mac Pro 5.1 and I'm hoping hat popping that in the machine will allow me to see what's going on and, hopefully, find a solution! But I guess we will see. Thank you again for your offer, I'll let you know if I'm at my wits end and if you want, you can take a look and see if you can find a solution that I've maybe overlooked! |
