To be fair I worked in Sloans as a KP a couple years ago, got the job 3 days after applying when I was absolutely on my arse skint.

Let me pick my hours, paid me living wage for over 25's even though I was under, gave me holiday pay, paid me when they were closed for renovation, free drink after every shift and could help myself to food during my shift, got a Christmas present and Christmas parties had to give a fiver a head tip minimum so we all got a big bonus over that period, if they couldn't give me hours theyd sort me shifts in other restaurants.

Not saying that it justify's the itison stuff, but a company that treats their workers better than they need to is alright in my book and I don't begrudge spending my money in there now.
