| Comment | I'm outside the city, so can't help with a vet recommendation. Congrats on the hound adoption. They're fantastic dogs, we were fostering greyhounds but "failed" and adopted our boy. He frequently has us in stitches with daft things he does, very different to any other dogs I've known in my life.
Greyhounds do have terrible tooth problems, the quicker you can get your dog used to getting his teeth brushed, the better. Our one will not tolerate having his mouth touched, so every 9-12 months he goes in for a "dental" where they knock him out and basically do a scale and polish. It's not cheap and not good for the dog, but better than risking losing teeth.
