| Comment | Honest opinion. Looked at buying here last year, and the flats are really trendy and have a loft/apartment style look going on. Especially the ones overlooking the Clyde.
We were put off by the location more than anything. Yes the views of the Clyde can't be beat. Even if it's govan your looking at. But it's not near the subway, and walking into Glasgow is a trek even along the footpath.
I asked someone who lived there and worked in the city centre if they would recommend it. They said no, it's a pain getting home, busses are packed, and if you want to walk or cycle the exposed area means it's almost always windy. In the winter it can be a bit of a downer.
Ended up looking at new gorbals/Richmond gate instead. Closer to Glasgow; for us anyway. |
