Know a few other posts have said this, but being a 4 in a block it might be coming from one of the other houses, could suggest that? Or maybe it's mice/rats/birds/other in the walls, all can make a significant amount of noise that you might not hear in your flat.

Tbh, sounds like she's just one of those pain in the arse neighbours.

I've lived in about 10 different houses/flats over the years, with loads of different neighbours- only 2 neighbor's I've ever had a problem with? Women over 55ish living on their own.

(Actually, slight lie, I mean long term/major problems)

What age is she? I know it's probably un PC to ask, but both my problem neighbours were older women, and they both seemed to have similar mental problems which I think came down to a mix of mental issues and loneliness, think sometimes the living on their own thing amplifies anything that happens, and the loneliness thing I think causes them to crave the interaction side of things, even if it is negative).
