| Comment | I'm a barber in the west end. This restyle fee sounds weird as it'll only be 3 months growth? All it'll need is a high guard on a clipper to get the bulk off and get it back to a desirable length which will take all of 5 minutes. My place is only charging £1 for a mask as we feel it's kinda ridiculous to place the extra costs on the customers during this. We are all skint and we've all had a difficult time so why should you pay more? We charge £20 already for a cut so we aren't losing out on that much, looking at my books it's the completely opposite as we are full until a week Monday.
If you feel the prices are too much or they are taking the piss you should message them and tell them you aren't happy to pay, most people should accommodate. I've seen some absolutely ridiculous charges for PPE (I saw a hairdressers asking for £25 extra on the cut which is obscene) |
