The Cathkin Braes country park is only a bit beyond Linn Park and has hands down the best view over Glasgow (although a bit of an uphill slog if you're running)

From Maryhill locks you can also continue along the canal (along the left-hand bank) up to Possil Marsh Nature Reserve and back

Finally, a loop that starts in the West End, goes over the bridge at the BBC building, through Govan, through the Clyde Tunnel walkway and back through Partick is about 10k and pretty enjoyable
