I nearly considered buying a flat there, the major issue I found was lack of storage - most of them only had one cupboard that was about 8 inches deep and other than that there was just a moderate sized built in wardrobe. The ones I saw didn't really have space to add in your own drawers/wardrobes etc. which was a bit of a pain. Ultimately what put me off was the surrounding streets, some look pretty scruffy and there was a lot of evidence of fly tipping, vandalism. It's obviously very personal but I didn't feel super comfortable with the area when I checked it out at night, although I didn't drive at the time.

As the previous poster noted, renting there for a short period would be fine but I'm not sure I'd want to live there for any extended period of time.
