| Comment | I live really close to those locks. Its handy because you can cycle or walk nearly the whole way into town without having to go on the road. I've never had any problems, (anywhere in Glasgow let alone Maryhill).
Theres a good butcher, a couple of supermarkets and good transport links. As with any city, be careful about where you go alone at night - 99% of the time you'll be fine. Don't start fights with drunk people. Be polite and courteous and people will be polite and courteous back.
I would say that in terms of housing its a really mixed bag in this area, some really beautiful flats, and some awful dives. Difficult to advise you without an ad or address. |
