By contrast, I had them for 4 years and had amazing uninterrupted 350mbps + service. Their tech support / billing department was god awful but thankfully I only needed to phone them once to switch address.
Seems to be that areas where virgin is “new” have frequent issues. Mine was old telewest lines.
