| Comment | I'm a white English guy in my late 20s and have never experienced any. Lots of Asian men who hang about on the streets but I've never seen them causing bother but can see why women might find that intimidating. There's a lot of fly tipping on certain streets but that ain't an issue unique to Glasgow.
Cessnock ain't glamerous but has lots of shops / takeaways and the access to the West End and the City Center are fantastic. The price and transport links are the areas biggest strenghts.
Oh and only other issue is when Glasgow Rangers (the areas local football club) are at home the roads get packed. If you have any other questions about the area feel free to ask, I've lived in Cessnock for 3 years |
