| Comment | it is not. there are plenty of diseases that haven't been seen in many years, and diseases that do appear but rarely now. beyond this, living our lives does not have to mean "sacrificing" higher risk people - the elderly, people with chronic illnesses, immunocompromised people, people with asthma, etc. this is a lot more people than many would expect. |
