| Comment | I heard back from them this week. I had actually filled out and printed the form on their website as well as emailing them on July 7th.
I'm assuming it's via the form they got in touch as they phoned me for a payment, and I didn't enclose my phone number in the email.
Anyway, they took a payment over the phone and I got three months free due to the extension. So now I'm all paid up until next year. However, permits are now "virtual" as opposed to physical.
"Physical parking permits were previously issued in your area, however, virtual permits now apply to minimise the transfer of documents and public contact. Virtual parking permits have many benefits i.e. faster access to your permit, no postal delays, no lost permits and more efficient processing.
Please ensure you record the expiry date of your parking permit and reapply up to 28 days before this date, as no reminder notice is issued by Glasgow City Council." |
