People will say they can't be trained, people are wrong, but it's...different. A Husky has little inclination to please you, so you need other ways into their thoughts (sausages, lots of sausages and frustration).
They also need walked. 1.5 hours per day, *minimum*. Rain? Hail? Snow? You think a Husky cares?
And in that minimum you'd better be sticking in multi-hour hikes as well.
Ours is pretty lazy TBH, but she will happily out walk and out run our much larger mongrel.
I've come off hill pretty convinced I'm about to die from exhaustion and she's been bouncing around going "When does the adventure start?". Bitch. |
