| Comment | In general Govanhill is fine from a safety perspective. Of course you can get unlucky with your neighbors but a lot of the talk of it being really rough or hard I think is coming from people who are either terrified of immigrants or are just believing what they see in the comment section of GlasgowLive articles. There are some buildings/blocks I would avoid ( some on Alison street east of Vicky road, some on Garturk street, end of Westmoreland street). But there are also blocks and streets that are absolutely fine and actually pretty nice (Albert road, Dixon Ave, etc). |
