+ Caught with a coworker having a lunchtime joint near Garnethill Was told to not walk so close to the school if having a spliff.
+ Someone complained about too much noise, police were pleasant enoughand went away within 10 mins.
+ reported attempted drive by shooting. Both standard cops and armed response unit showed up in 15 mins despite it being 2am on Boxing Day. Wasn't chuffed about having to give a second statement in the afternoon later though.
+ flat next to me is sublet via GCC for rehab cases, saw one tenant beating his gf, police there in under 10 minutes. He gets hauled off, probation violated and hopefully out of the way for the next decade.
Professional experience, meh:
+ Unless there's some sort of weapon involved, they take forever to turn up for shoplifting or assault.
+ During one case involving cheque fraud, they somehow lost the CCTV evidence five different times. After the second copy, I made sure we always had an extra backup. |
