| Comment | Having absolutely no luck finding work now. I keep being told there's a social care recruitment crisis and the country desperately needs more social care staff. But also the agency I usually work through has only had a handful of shifts in the last 4 months, the agency I spoke to this week admits they don't have work coming in, social care jobs I apply for are turning me down without an interview, anywhere that's doing video-call interviews has every appointment full. I'm running out of money to stay afloat and my landlord has already threatened to evict me for falling 6 weeks behind on rent.
I've waited all summer for things to pick up again but it's just not happening. |
