Police took 2 hours to arrive after some kindly locals let us in to escape.
I said I wanted to press charges but they never came back, found out months later when I asked my parents when I was going to hear about it that the police took my mum aside privately and advised her not to press charges since it was a troubled family and they'd likely retaliate. I never even got so much as a name.
