Comment | The point of it is that it's a very small amount of money injected to stimulate much larger cashflow - it's to try and get people to return to restaurants and keep that sector operational, which in turn means a smaller drain on the public purse due to fewer businesses closing and fewer people being unemployed.
As it stands, because of the age profile of hospitality workers, a generation is already being wiped out.
