| Comment | No matter what people are saying the motive is (racial or not), this is horribly emotionally (and potentially physically) traumatic. This makes me cry. I’m so mad and hurt on your behalf. I hear these stories of scumbags with nothing better to do than to abuse people and can only hope karma bites them in the ass.
Imagine being that shitty of a person that you think it’s impressive to hurt someone for fun. Scum of the earth. At least you can know you’re 100% better person than them, but that doesn’t erase the pain for you.
If you are ever concerned, I know there are self defence classes in Glasgow that could increase confidence.
I hope you have a support system (family or friends?) in Glasgow and feel safe and respected and welcomed. There are also lots of organised groups for meeting new people if needed (sorry, not meaning to make any assumptions but just thought I’d add these in case).
