| Comment | I wasn't suggesting for a second the two were comparable in terms of the devastation they cause, as I suspect you know, but the principle holds true: the victim is not responsible. Would you suggest that a rape victim who got very drunk at a party and went back to the perpetrator's home, is partially responsible? I'm sure you wouldn't, therefore your reasoning is inconsistent.
Just because someone made it easy for a criminal, doesn't mean they share responsibility for the crime. It's always 100% the fault of the criminal. |
