| Comment | Hopefully they close it and make it into a mixed used pedestrianised space. Glasgow is far too car focused as it is and time and time again we have seen that the solution to traffic isn’t to build more roads and car parks. To reduce congestion you need to have decent public transport, pedestrianised streets, and alternative modes of transport such as cycle lanes.
Cars are destroying the planet. We must move to more sustainable means of transportation. |
