I agree, lovely parts of the city centre are totally overrun with cars. Jogging in the city centre during lockdown made me realise how the more pleasant the centre is when it is car-free, whilst that car park and its sheer size really drags down that part of town. The city centre should be as road vehicle-free as it possibly can be save for buses, taxis and delivery vans.
