| Comment | The M77/A77 is probably my 3rd favorite road in Scotland - you can flat out down it both ways nearly all day, and the scenery is pretty exhilarating. Negotiating your way into and out of Ayr and the UWS Campus (ra!) is a bit of a pisser though. Last time I was there (2017?) they were introducing a dysfunctional one way system.
But yes, it's quite doable and even modestly enjoyable with the window down and a good sound track. |
