| Comment | Totally - I went to Edinburgh from uni but came from near Gkasgow. It was utterly expected I'd just stay at home and go to Glasgow. I wanted to move out for a different experience and I also liked the look of the course and uni more. It honestly made such a difference and I met people from all over the world, did a year abroad and learned to be independent. I loved living in a city rather than a shitty town as I could walk everywhere and didnt need to drive to do something fun. Almost all of my friends are still living with their parents at home and have the same friend groups.
I really like Scotland but not sure I will be permanently living there again - it does just feel very, very small sometimes. |
