Comment | I know, that's not exactly what I meant, maybe my wording was misleading in the last 2 sentences. If you check my reply to another user above, I am aware that just shipping them off to somewhere else wouldn't solve the root cause and this problem is a complex one that has existed before the pandemic. My main concern is that the city centre (especially the area around Glasgow Central Station) has a lot of traffic from people all over town and other parts of the country and everyone's safety is put at risk. For instance I have been followed the other day by a couple of beggars when I got out of the Coop opposite to Radisson on Argyle St, also a girl's phone was stolen around St Enoch station by some junkies when I was around and a couple of junkies were fighting on my street earlier this week. There were such problems before, but since the pandemic, the area really looks like a zombie apocalypse scene and it has become more dirty and violent. |
