Tap water in Glasgow is brilliant. However, be careful. I recently moved to the flat when I have an electric water boiler thingy, and all of my taps are mixer taps. The water tastes awful, unless you let the cold water run for really, really long time. It does not do it well if it mixes with that stall water being constantly reheated. I am told it might also be unhealthly....
I guess that was the original reason for British having separate hot and cold taps...
But if your cold water tap is unspoiled, then you're for a treat. |
