Re. 150km a day, don't underestimate the weather or terrain here if you're not from around the west coast.

The headwinds in particular can be absolutely soul destroying and slow your progress to a crawl.

I've done a lot of long distance cycling, and the toughest days are always on the west coast here. Special mention to the Hebridean Way in some of the worst wind and rain you can possibly imagine...in June🤦‍♂️
