I grew up in a bad part of Leicester, I ALWAYS expect and receive insults and comments and looks from anyone my age whilst walking or on the bus. Whenever I glance I somebody they typically respond with “ay who you lookin at?” With a scowl. I don’t really say much in case they have a knife so that’s how it usually goes
