I'm friends with a Prof in one of the new buildings. Since he is barely there because he really works at the uni, he gave up his office to other staff. Felt bad that he had this massive room and the PhD students/post-docs etc. were all hot-desking together in a room the same size (!).
Another fun wee one: big Anna D **hates** microwaves incase they're showing bigwigs around and it stinks, so there aren't many and are an *enormous* political fight to get. |
