Ours only goes out for a few hours each day (usually when the sun comes up she fancies a wander) so it's largely manageable, but this year I think some mice nested nearby, which wasn't their smartest move.

She's shite at killing them too/not hungry enough to bother so often I manage to get them and the little things appear to survive once they got over the shock and scutter away, but a couple of times I haven't managed.

She's generally a terrible bird hunter too though the fruit tree in front of the house just filled with cherries so the sparrows were asking for it, and she did get one of the poor buggars.

Looking back on three paragraphs here I think I need a new hobby...
