The reason 'liberal lefties' is a retort aimed at those with often different opinions, who often engage with further education is nothing to do with brain washing or indictrination at uni etc. it's simply the fact at uni you don't get away with unverifiable, evidenced assumptions. You're simply forced to evidence the reason for your views and conclusions which becomes a lifelong practice.
Sadly had to stop using Facebook due to similar posts when BLM stuff kicked off, can't say I've missed it tbh. |
