I was stood at the counter in Victor Morris for quite a while one day, waiting on the one guy in the shop finishing up a phone call.

He was talking to some trade association or legal defence organisation. From what I could tell from one half of the conversation, he'd recently sold an airgun to an underage ned, who'd been lifted by the polis and had grassed up his source. The discussion was all about various tactics that could be used to stop a charge sticking to the shop for allowing the purchase.
